Cross-site scripting via unescaped contributions title

Cross-site scripting in MediaWiki before 1.37.3 and 1.38.x before 1.38.1 allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted username. The Special:Contributions page uses the contributions-title message, including the username, as a page title without escaping HTML entities. Exploitation requires a non-default configuration that permits HTML entities in usernames and a user to view the affected contributions page, enabling script execution in the wiki origin.
