CVE-2022-34887Network attack vector

Configuration alteration without administrator authentication

Published Oct 27, 2023 · Updated Sep 9, 2024

Improper authentication in Lenovo GM265DN, GM266DNS, and G263DNS printers allows remote authenticated users to alter configuration. The administrative configuration interface accepts a standard user session without requiring the administrator password, exposing controls such as the printer IP address. A standard account and network access are required; Lenovo has not disclosed the affected endpoint or request-validation logic.
