Browser script execution via unencoded report parameters
Published Jul 5, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in VICIdial 2.14b0.5 before revision 3555 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a viewer's browser. AST_agent_time_sheet.php places the agent and search_archived_data request parameters into generated HTML without context-appropriate output encoding. Access to the reporting interface and interaction by a viewer are required; injected script executes with that viewer's web-session privileges.
