CVE-2022-34876Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated database compromise via unneutralized admin parameters

Published Jul 5, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

SQL injection in VICIdial 2.14b0.5 before SVN 3555 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter database records. The admin.php user-creation path evaluates quote-terminated SQL expressions supplied through the modify_email_accounts, access_recordings, and agentcall_email POST fields. A valid VICIdial account is required; successful exploitation can enumerate stored usernames and passwords and expose or alter other database data.
