Information disclosure via Doc-object over-read
Published Jul 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Foxit PDF Reader 11.2.2.53575 allows remote attackers to disclose information through crafted JavaScript. The Doc-object handler fails to validate allocation boundaries before JavaScript actions read past the end of an allocated object. A target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the resulting process-memory disclosure can support a separate code-execution exploit.
