CVE-2022-34850Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via shell-interpreted username

Published Oct 25, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

OS command injection in the Robustel R1510 web server in 3.1.16 and 3.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The SSH-key import handler builds a cp command with sysprintf, passes it to system, and embeds the administrator username despite permitting shell metacharacters. An account allowed to edit functions must first change the administrator username and then invoke /action/import_authorized_keys/, yielding command execution with the web server's privileges.
