CVE-2022-34801Network attack vector

Token disclosure via plaintext configuration form transmission

Published Jun 30, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Cleartext transmission in Jenkins Build Notifications Plugin 1.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read configured tokens. The global Jenkins configuration form serializes configured Pushover, Slack, and Telegram tokens as plaintext values rather than protected secrets. Authenticated access to that form is required, and exposure is limited to the configured notification-service tokens.
