Client crash via certificate-request handling

Denial of service in Mozilla Network Security Services 3.81 allows remote attackers to crash NSS clients through a malicious TLS server. The crash occurs when the server requests a client-authentication certificate and the client's certificate database contains no user certificate; public records do not identify the faulting function or invalid memory operation. The client must initiate a TLS connection to the attacker-controlled server, and successful exploitation terminates the NSS-using process without reported data disclosure or modification.
