Credential ID disclosure via unchecked HTTP endpoints
Published Jun 30, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Jenkins XebiaLabs XL Release Plugin 22.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enumerate credential IDs. The doFillCredentialsIdItems handlers call lookupCredentials under ACL.SYSTEM and populate list-box results without enforcing administrator or item permissions. Overall/Read access is sufficient; the exposed identifiers do not reveal secret values directly but can support credential-capture chains.
