CVE-2022-34773

Database address insertion via HTTP method manipulation

Published Aug 22, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

HTTP method manipulation in Tabit before 3.27.0 allows remote authenticated users to add addresses to its database through a crafted POST request. The /configuration/addresses-query endpoint accepts POST requests that perform a database write despite the expected request-method restriction. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access, low privileges, and user interaction; the published record identifies no broader read or code-execution impact.
