Service interruption via out-of-bounds URL parsing
Published Jul 13, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Buffer-bounds error in Schneider Electric BMENOR2200H 1.0 and BMENUA0100 before 1.10 allows remote attackers to interrupt service. The modules' URL parser performs memory-buffer operations without adequately restricting accesses to valid bounds when it processes a crafted URL. No authentication or user interaction is required, but Schneider Electric rates exploitation as high complexity and reports only denial of service.
