CVE-2022-34762Network attack vector

Unauthorized firmware loading via path traversal

Published Jul 13, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Path traversal in BMENOR2200H 2.01 and later and BMENUA0100 1.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to load unsigned firmware. The firmware-loading path fails to confine an attacker-supplied pathname to the designated firmware image directory. High-privileged network access and a crafted unsigned image are required; exploitation replaces firmware and can interrupt the module.
