Denial of service in Microsoft Windows IKE Extension allows remote attackers to interrupt affected systems via network traffic. Microsoft has not published the flawed function, parsing operation, packet field, or other code-level mechanism in the IKE Extension. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published impact is limited to loss of availability.
