Authenticated database disclosure via unneutralized sc parameter
Published Oct 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in getstatecity.php in SourceCodester Human Resource Management System allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The endpoint incorporates the sc request parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing crafted input to alter the query. A valid low-privilege session is required, and the established consequence is database confidentiality loss rather than code execution.
