Local service interruption via integer truncation

Integer truncation in the kernel-mode layer of NVIDIA vGPU Software 14.2 and earlier allows local users to interrupt service. The handler narrows an integer before a bounds-sensitive memory read, allowing the truncated value to produce an out-of-bounds read. Low-privilege local access is required; NVIDIA has not disclosed whether the resulting interruption is a crash, hang, or another failure mode.
