CVE-2022-34667

Data corruption and service interruption via malformed file

Published Nov 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 25, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in cuobjdump in NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit before 11.8 allows attackers to alter data or interrupt service via a malformed file. The vendor has not disclosed which cuobjdump parser or stack buffer mishandles the corrupted input, so the specific unchecked operation is not public. A remote attacker must persuade a local user to download the file and run cuobjdump against it; the reported impact is limited to that user's data integrity and local tool availability.
