Database disclosure via unsanitized schedule description
Published Aug 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
SQL injection in WWBN AVideo 11.6 and dev master commit 3f7c0364 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The Live Schedules add endpoint assigns the unsanitized description parameter to a Live_schedule object, and ObjectYPT::save concatenates it into INSERT or UPDATE SQL. Exploitation requires the disabled-by-default Live plugin and streaming permission; the demonstrated query extracts the administrator password hash.
