Unauthenticated code execution via Delstlist stack overflow
Published Jul 20, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stack overflow in the Delstlist interface of H3C Magic R200 R200V200R004L02 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted HTTP request. The /goform/aspForm handler sends the attacker-controlled param value to getElement, which accepts up to 64 bytes for a 16-byte V7 stack buffer. The published write-up states that exploitation requires no authentication and can yield a stable root shell, giving full control of the router.
