Information disclosure in Octopus Server 2018.3.1 through affected 2022.4 builds allows remote attackers to view sensitive variables. The variable preview path removes masking from certain sensitive variable types and renders their plaintext values; Octopus Deploy has not disclosed the affected types or lower-level implementation details. Exposure requires a request that displays variable preview, and the documented consequence is limited to confidentiality.
