Browser script execution via stored subject name
Published Jul 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Advanced School Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a crafted Edit Subject value. The update_subject.php handler accepts script-bearing subject text, which the subject view later renders as executable content. A Super Admin session is required to alter the field, and execution occurs when the subject interface is opened again, exposing browser-held session data.
