Authenticated database disclosure via injectable grade parameter
Published Jul 20, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in itsourcecode Advanced School Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the grade parameter. The student_grade_wise.php endpoint incorporates the grade value into its student-selection query without effective SQL neutralization, allowing a UNION payload to change the query and return database output. A valid PHP session is required, and the public demonstration confirms disclosure of the current database name rather than a complete database takeover.
