Stored XSS via unsanitized profile-field update
Published Jul 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Advanced School Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via the address profile field. The CVE description names address, but its referenced proof of concept places an unescaped script payload in i_name during an update_admin_profile POST to /school/index.php. A Super Admin session and later page rendering are required; execution occurs in the viewing user's browser and can expose session data or alter displayed content.
