Device key disclosure via unprotected diagnostic endpoint
Published Jul 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Information disclosure in Wavlink WiFi-Repeater firmware RPTA2-77W.M4300.01.GD.2017Sep19 allows attackers to read device key data. The fctest.shtml endpoint returns device key information without enforcing the access control expected for that diagnostic page. Exploitation requires low-privileged access from an adjacent network and is limited to disclosure of the returned key information.
