Authenticated command execution via license_tok.cgi POST
Published Jul 19, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
OS command injection in Digital Watchdog DW MEGApix IP cameras A7.2.2_20211029 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The license_tok.cgi handler accepts a crafted POST request, but public sources do not disclose the affected parameter or shell-command construction. A valid low-privileged session is required; successful exploitation executes attacker-chosen operating-system commands in the camera's context.
