Authenticated command injection via addacph.cgi
Published Jul 19, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Command injection in Digital Watchdog DW MEGApix A7.2.2_20211029 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via crafted POST requests. The /admin/vca/bia/addacph.cgi handler incorporates attacker-controlled POST data into an operating-system command without adequate neutralization. Exploitation requires network access and low-level authentication, and successful execution can compromise camera confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
