Username enumeration in Backdrop CMS 1.22.0 allows remote attackers to identify valid accounts through password-reset requests. The user password-reset handler produces distinguishable responses according to whether the submitted username matches an account. No authentication is required; the disclosed consequence is account-name exposure that can support targeted credential attacks.
