Browser script execution via unencoded buyer name

Cross-site scripting in /transcation.php in SourceCodester Book Store Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script. /transcation.php accepts the buyer_name transaction field and later places its value into a page without HTML encoding, so supplied markup executes. Cashier or administrator access is required to create a transaction, and execution occurs when another authenticated user views the affected record.
