Remote Omnibox spoofing via Custom Tabs
Published Nov 9, 2022 · Updated Oct 29, 2024
Inappropriate implementation in Google Chrome Custom Tabs before 106.0.5249.119 allows remote attackers to spoof the Omnibox via crafted HTML. User interaction is required to open the crafted page, and the documented consequence is integrity loss through deceptive address-bar display without confidentiality or availability impact.
