CVE-2022-34464Network attack vector

SSH key injection via improperly protected import file

Published Jul 12, 2022 · Updated Nov 12, 2025

Improper access control in Siemens SICAM GridEdge before 2.7.3 allows remote authenticated users to inject a custom SSH key. The SSH-key import workflow reads keys from a file whose access protections permit unauthorized filesystem modification. Filesystem access to the host is required, and a planted key can grant SSH access under the identity that accepts the imported key.
