CVE-2022-34448Network attack vector

Privileged state changes via forged requests

Published Feb 10, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025

CSRF in Dell PowerPath Management Appliance 3.3, 3.2*, 3.1, and 3.0* allows remote attackers to perform privileged state changes. Dell has not disclosed which web endpoint accepts the forged request or which request-origin or anti-CSRF validation is missing. Exploitation requires a privileged user to interact with attacker-controlled content while an authenticated appliance session is active, and resulting actions run with that user's privileges.
