CVE-2022-34441

Administrator access via hard-coded cryptographic key

Published Jan 11, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2025

Hard-coded cryptographic keys in Dell Secure Connect Gateway Policy Manager 5.10 through 5.12 allow local users to gain administrator access. Dell has not disclosed where the key is embedded or how the authentication path accepts it, so the affected cryptographic operation is not publicly documented. Exploitation requires local access and knowledge of the hard-coded sensitive information; successful authentication grants control of administrator-only functions.
