Guest file deletion via gedit command injection

Command injection in gedit within Dell Hybrid Client before 1.8 allows local users with guest access to delete user and system files. Dell identifies gedit and maps the issue to CWE-77, but has not disclosed the vulnerable function, attacker-controlled input, or command construction error. Exploitation requires local guest access; reported consequences are limited to deleting user files and some system files and folders.
