Authenticated command execution via undisclosed gofsutil flaw
Published Oct 11, 2022 · Updated May 16, 2025
OS command injection in Dell Container Storage Modules 1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The flaw is in the gofsutil library, but Dell has not disclosed which operation incorporates attacker-controlled data into an operating-system command. Low-privilege authenticated access is required, and successful exploitation runs commands with the privileges of the affected CSM component.
