Arbitrary SMM code execution via unchecked buffer

Improper buffer validation in Dell PowerEdge BIOS 14G and 15G allows local users with high privileges to execute code or crash the system. The BIOS does not verify that an SMM communication buffer stays within permitted memory bounds before operating on its contents. High privileges and a local execution path are required; successful exploitation can run code in SMM or interrupt service.
