SMRAM code execution via oversized SMI parameter

Stack-based buffer overflow in Dell Client Platform BIOS allows local users to execute arbitrary code in SMRAM through an SMI. The SMI input path accepts a parameter larger than expected, overflowing a stack buffer within protected SMRAM. Reaching the flaw requires a local authenticated user able to issue the crafted SMI, and successful exploitation executes code inside the isolated SMM environment.
