System takeover via passwordless Active Directory login
Published Sep 1, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Authentication bypass in Dell CloudLink before 7.1.3 allows remote attackers with known Active Directory usernames to control the system. The web console accepts an Active Directory username without requiring its password; Dell has not disclosed the responsible code path or validation error. Knowledge of a directory username is sufficient to reach the console without authentication, exposing administrative control of the CloudLink system.
