CVE-2022-34350Network attack vector

Unauthenticated internal service interaction via outbound requests

Published Feb 8, 2023 · Updated Mar 25, 2025

External service interaction in the Developer Portal of IBM API Connect allows remote attackers to trigger arbitrary outbound requests. The portal component improperly validates user-controlled input before using it to initiate DNS lookups or HTTP requests to arbitrary domains. No authentication or user interaction is required in 10.0.0.0 through 10.0.5.0, 10.0.1.0 through 10.0.1.7, and 2018.4.1.0 through 2018.4.1.20; crafted payloads reach systems accessible from the server.
