Browser script execution via unneutralized student data
Published Oct 8, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Web-Based Student Clearance System allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user’s browser. The prepare function in /Admin/add-student.php accepts crafted student data without neutralizing it before web-page generation. An authenticated administrator workflow and subsequent user interaction are required; exploitation can alter displayed content and access browser-visible data.
