Information disclosure and DoS via unauthenticated proxy statistics
Published Mar 12, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Improper authentication in affected Apache Pulsar Proxy releases allows remote attackers to access /proxy-stats without credentials. The endpoint omits an authentication check before returning live-connection statistics and accepting logging-level changes. Reachability requires network access to the proxy, which is designed for a secured perimeter; successful requests disclose client IP addresses and can raise logging overhead enough to interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=2.11.0 <2.11.3
