Application-session access via missing cookie Secure attribute
Published Nov 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Information disclosure in IBM CICS TX Standard and Advanced allows remote attackers to steal session cookies through cleartext HTTP. Authorization tokens and session cookies are created without the Secure attribute, so a browser sends them to an attacker-controlled HTTP link. Exploitation requires user interaction and an attacker positioned to snoop the resulting unencrypted traffic; a captured token grants access to the associated application session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
