Denial of service in wolfSSL before 5.4.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt DTLS 1.0 or 1.2 servers via network traffic. A specific edge case wrongly skips the DTLS return-routability check, allowing unchecked requests to consume server resources or amplify traffic toward a victim IP. Only server-side DTLS 1.0 or 1.2 deployments are exposed; the consequence is bounded to resource exhaustion or reflected amplification.
