Code execution via embedded-font out-of-bounds write
Published Aug 11, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Illustrator 26.3.1 and earlier and 25.4.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a malicious file. The embedded-font parser writes crafted font data past the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a user to open the file or visit a page that supplies it, and resulting code runs in the context of the current Illustrator process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
