Admin-authenticated code execution via Widgets XML injection

XML injection in Adobe Commerce 2.4.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through the Widgets Module. The module accepts a specially crafted script as injectable XML, but Adobe has not disclosed the affected function, parser operation, or injection path. The attack requires an administrator account and no further user interaction, and successful exploitation executes code in the affected Commerce environment.
