Memory disclosure via embedded-font buffer over-read
Published Jul 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe InCopy 17.2 and earlier and 16.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose memory via a malicious file. Crafted embedded-font data causes the parser to read past the end of an allocated buffer, exposing adjacent process memory. Exploitation requires a victim to visit malicious content or open a malicious file, and the disclosure can reveal data useful for bypassing ASLR.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
