Memory disclosure via out-of-bounds font parsing
Published Jul 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe InDesign 17.2.1 and earlier and 16.4.1 and earlier allows attackers to disclose memory via a crafted file. The font parser reads beyond the end of an allocated memory structure when it processes malformed file content. A victim must open the malicious file, and the exposed data is limited to memory readable within the current user's process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
