Memory disclosure via out-of-bounds font read
Published Jul 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader allows attackers to disclose process memory through crafted font data in a malicious PDF. Embedded-font parsing reads past the end of an allocated buffer when it handles the crafted data. The affected branches are 22.001.20142 and earlier, 20.005.30334 and earlier, and 17.012.30229 and earlier; a victim must visit a malicious page or open the file, and code execution requires chaining another flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
