Sensitive-memory disclosure via font parsing use-after-free
Published Jul 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Use-after-free in Adobe Acrobat Reader 22.001.20142 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory through a malicious file. During font parsing, the application accesses an object after its memory has been freed; Adobe has not disclosed the object or lifetime-management error. A victim must open the file, and the disclosure can reveal memory used to bypass ASLR without altering data or interrupting service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
