Memory disclosure via embedded-font buffer overread
Published Jul 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader through 22.001.20142 allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory through a crafted font. Embedded-font parsing reads crafted font data past the end of an allocated buffer, exposing adjacent process memory. A target must open a malicious file or visit a malicious page; the disclosure can weaken ASLR and support a separate code-execution flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
