Type confusion in Adobe Acrobat Reader 22.001.20142 and earlier allows attackers to execute code as the current user through a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or the incompatible resource types whose mistaken handling produces code execution. A victim must open the crafted file; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code with the victim's privileges on Windows or macOS.
