CVE-2022-34212Network attack vector

Authenticated SSRF via missing endpoint authorization

Published Jun 22, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Missing authorization in Jenkins vRealize Orchestrator Plugin 3.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to send POST requests to arbitrary URLs. An HTTP endpoint accepts an attacker-specified URL and directs the Jenkins controller to contact it without an additional permission check. Overall/Read access is required, and the bounded consequence is a controller-originated request that can modify a reachable service.
